Vern Yip

Meet Vern Yip, nationally known designer, author + TV host, at the Southern Women's Show in Raleigh. Vern is perhaps best known from HGTV and for his four seasons on TLC's popular design-swap reality show, "Trading Spaces", which aired from 2000 to 2008, and is now making a spring 2018 return to TLC featuring Vern and many of the original cast of designers.
Vern has also appeared on NBC’s “Home Intervention” and is one of HGTV’s most recognizable designers, most notably as host of “Deserving Design,” “Urban Oasis,” and “Live in Vern’s House,’ and as a judge on “Design Star.” He is the author “Vern Yip's Design Wise: Your Smart Guide to a Beautiful Home.”

Vern will appear on the Fashion & Entertainment Stage on Saturday, April 14 at 1:30pm, and share design advice, home décor tips, and stylish living inspiration, and offer a glimpse into what viewers can expect from the new season of Trading Spaces.”

Savannah Chrisley

A southern beauty with a flair for the fabulous! At just 19 years old, Savannah Chrisley is the youngest person to ever appear on HSN with her new fashion line "Faith over Fear," which debuted last fall. The former pageant queen is also developing on her own fragrance and cosmetic collection. Savannah is an outspoken advocate for the encouragement of women for all walks of life. She works with unlikely heroes to help rescue women from the sex trafficking trade around the world, as well as with Generosity Water to provide clean water to people who do not have access to it.

Savannah is gearing up for Season 6 of Chrisley Knows Best, the second highest rated cable show on Tuesday nights! Naja 'The Naja' Rickette

Naja Rickette, aka The Nail Guru, is an award-winning, celebrity nail artist. She has been a salon owner, brand ambassador, and international educator. Her work has been seen on Mary J. Blige, Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, and LL Cool J. She has a Guinness World Records title under her belt, and is most recognized for her role spanning 5 seasons on WeTV’s hit reality TV show LA Hair. Her passion is helping young entrepreneurs in the beauty industry make consistent cash from their craft. She offers online courses and coaching on the business side of beauty.

She will be appearing on the Spotlight Stage on Friday, April 13 at 6:30pm, and Saturday, April 14 and Sunday, April 15 at 3pm. She will also be selling her Queen Sized products and line of Nailed by Naja scented nail polish all weekend!

Becca Rae

Becca Rae is a singer-songwriter based out of Southern Pines, North Carolina. She is the creator and host of the historic Sunrise Theater’s “Singer-Songwriters in the Round” showcase, a bi-annual event that spotlights North Carolina songwriters. She was also voted “Best of the Pines” in the category “Best Local Musician- Solo” in 2017 by The Pilot newspaper. Becca Rae performs her original music on stages all across the state, and has been featured on WHUP’s original music radio program, “Pass the Hat.” Becca Rae has released two independent original albums, “Strength” in 2008 and “Somewhere in Georgia” in 2011. The year 2018 promises to be a banner year, including the release of her third album, and the spread of her “Singer-Songwriters in the Round” showcase to surrounding cities in North Carolina. Fiercely determined, Becca Rae continues to write, record, and perform in relentless pursuit of becoming a hit songwriter.

Abby Stephens

Abby discovered her love for music at age 7 when she began voice and piano lessons. Her music teacher encouraged her to audition for Clayton Idol Jr., a local singing competition. This was her first time singing for an audience and competing. She will tell you when the lights hit her, it was the best feeling ever. Winning Clayton Idol propelled Abby to continue to learn music through piano and guitar. She soon discovered she enjoyed putting her thoughts to music. Abby was honored to win the Carolina Music Award for 2016 Youth Music Video of the year for her original song “Best Day Ever”. Abby has been featured on the Bobby Bones Show, local radio stations, and has opened for artists such as Jana Kramer, Lauren Alaina, Mickey Guyton, Clare Dunn and CAM. She has also sung on stage with Kelsea Ballerini during a Raging Idiots show and again at the ACM Festival. Abby currently travels regularly to Nashville, TN to write, record & perform. She identifies with country music as that is what she was raised on. She enjoys all genres of music and says she feels there is music playing in her head at all times. Abby recently started a charity named “Best Day Ever Foundation” to serve as a hyper-local, small make a wish in hopes of providing kids exciting experiences and giving them the Best Day Ever!

Amazing Grace Etiquette

Amazing Grace Etiquette was launched in 2003, by Dr. Donna E. Corbett to provide innovative etiquette education to adults and children throughout the Triangle area. Dr. Corbett has overwhelmingly convinced countless parents, school systems, businesses and community-based organizations that etiquette education is essential to the social development of youth and adults.  With over 20 years of experience in the etiquette education and modeling arenas, success in her growing business venture was inevitable.

Dr. Corbett will be hosting her game show, "How Well Do You Know Your Etiquette?" on the Spotlight Stage on Friday, April 13 at 4:30 and Saturday, April 14 at 1:30. Contestants are paired off with questions from simple etiquette that you thought you knew to etiquette for formal settings.
